Road risks as the weather gets nicer

As a reminder, as the weather gets nicer there are more vehicles on the road. With the increase in traffic, we still need to be mindful of everything else that comes with the transition from Winter to Spring.

Here are some things to be mindful of this time of the year:

• Motorcycles and other vehicles that could sometimes be hard to see.
• Cinders on the road left from the winter season.
• Rainstorms that cause slick road conditions.
• Morning freezing temperatures could make roads icy.
• An increase in wildlife.
• School buses – due to school still being in session.
