Memorial Day Weekend and safety

This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend and if you’re like us you are either going to, or hosting a BBQ.  With that comes the fun and festivities of celebrating and giving thanks to those that have served for the USA.  Sometimes fireworks can be involved. Fireworks can be very dangerous and need to be monitored at all times. According to the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), fireworks start an average of 18,500 fires per year, cost an average of $43 million in direct property damage, along with many injuries, structure damage, and emergency room visits.  Believe it or not, sparklers finished as the #1 related firework injury.

So we ask please have fun, enjoy your time, but remain safe at all times, and have a Happy Memorial Day weekend!
