Changing your smoke detector batteries

When did you last change your Smoke Detector batteries?

According to the National Fire Protection Association a great time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors (and clocks) is during Daylight Savings Time. Which means you’re just about 3 months behind, so if you haven’t already, please do. As these devastating Canadian Wildfires have impacted our region’s air quality, it has put fire safety on many of our minds, so we wanted to provide this friendly reminder. Our thoughts go to all of those that have been and currently are affected.
